Manufacturing and Outsourcing Services in Mexico
North American Production Sharing, Inc. (NAPS) was established in 1991 by company principals Richard Jaime and William Lew.
After years of experience in the Maquiladora industry, Jaime sought to develop a better business process and model for managing manufacturing plants in Mexico by delivering value through a carefully designed operating model. Jaime was introduced to Lew, whose expertise in banking and finance was a perfect match. Lew relocated from San Francisco to Southern California and together they started NAPS from the ground up, doing market research and developing strategies to create new business.
It was not long before Jaime reached out to Gloria Madrid and Eduardo Garcia, two former contacts from Jaime’s past work in Mexico. Madrid focused on building a team that could support numerous manufacturing operations in Mexico without sacrificing service.
Finding the right people was critical to achieving her goal but it was Garcia’s early adoption and implementation of automation and technology that made it possible for quick and sustainable growth. Garcia now holds the position of MIS Manger for the company and Madrid is the Chief Operating Officer.
